He has a hostile opinion of Ussurans, probably colored by experience with the local Ussuran criminal syndicate. (S3A)

Lew Budky: A man aligned with the Biały faction encountered at the Quartered Raven. While passing around a copy of the Budorigum Gazette, he and his fellow Whites discuss Czerwony thugs. He notes B's mention of Klaudja and Jacek's mention of drowned bodies. He notices K trailing him after he leaves the tavern and leads him into an ambush behind the Budorigum Gazette Building. Kaya identifies him to A and adds that he posed as a Red rioter during the fake Market Square Riot. (S3A) He is a member of the Duelist's Guild and knows the Szybowanie Style. She invites I, K, and B up to her box at the opera. She delicately probes K to find out if I is his property. She also attempts to feel out I for interest in becoming a jenny. She invites I and her entourage to her estate. (S4) The Brute Squads hired by Imelda Mundt to kidnap G had instructions to deliver him to her. (S5 m) At her party, she resumes her subtle attempts to seduce I with the advantages of obtaining a patron and the glamorous lifestyle of becoming a Courtesan. She senses something vaguely amiss and signals to one of her armed servants, but is foiled by I's use of Fascinate to delay the servant while B distracts her by animatedly engaging Lew Budky in conversation about dueling. (S6A) She notices that I's "servant" is missing and snidely makes a dig at K for fetching food himself. She greets Lew Budky and Klaudja like old friends. B allays her suspicions about the missing servant by offering to go look for him. I finds her sister Aldona's ring and shoes in her manor, direct evidence of her complicity in her sister's disappearance. (S6B)

Rog Ostrowski: A prominent merchant identified by Kolya as being known to deal in shady things. (S4 m)

B gives his some bread and sends him home with a coin and the suggestion that he might be asked to serve as a messenger again. (S5)

Tomak: The proprietor of Tomak's Boarding House. (S5)

Ludymila: Jan's mother. She lives and works at a tall wharfside establishment in the poorest part of Budorigum and has red hair "most of the time" implying she may be an impoverished jenny. (S5 m)

Miron Slowka: A reputable silversmith in Budorigum from whom B, I, and K purchase a silver nightingale pin. (S6A)

The Ussuran trade delegation: A group of educated upper-class Ussurans attending Nadzieja Dubicki's party. B avoids them lest they blow his cover as I's somewhat dim arm candy. (S6A)
Dasha: Nadzieja Dubicki's cook. This hardworking woman is too busy to provide G with useful gossip. (S6B)

The steward: A man with an impressive keyring and a distinctive white streak through his carrot-red hair. He serves as Nadzieja Dubicki's steward, but is also a spy for a rival merchant. He is astounded and annoyed that G discovers a secret basement room in her manor that he did not know of. He provides I with a ledger documenting clothing and jewelry taken from trafficked people and identifies a set of keys as likely belonging to a warehouse. When I and G discuss murder and arson, he flees to avoid complicity. B spots him fleeing the party with loot stuffed under his coat. (S6B)
