Concept: Big damn hero...in a kilt.

Hero is 10 feet tall...in his own mind at least. He's been all around the Glamour Isles and has the necklace of Siren's tears he won off an unlucky Sidhe (whoever heard of one of those, but Hero's not one to look a gift oddity in the mouth, you know what I mean?). As you might guess, he's solidly embraced the Sidhe invasion and is a staunch supporter of Queen Elaine.

A brawler, not a lover, Hero flaunts his Duelist Guild cred whenever it seems like a bit of mortal danger could help cool down the situation. You might wonder how one duels with a Claymore. You might ask him for a demonstration if you're that curious. He'll likely cut the trousers off of you just to show you what 6 feet of steel is capable of in the right hands.

Flowing red hair, a magnificent beard, twinkling eyes of ocean blue and the bonniest knees in the Marches...that's Hero to a T.

And yep, given that dancing has similar need for freedom of movement legwise, all the skirt bits were well known to some subset of this group. Catching a heel in your skirt is a fantastic way to narrate failure though.

I went looking for cheat sheets so I wouldn't have to keep switching back and forth between different parts of the core rulebook. Here's what I saw that looked helpful to me:

• Action or Drama sequences
• Dueling

Note that I didn't create these and haven't scoured them for accuracy.

The action/dramatic sequence one is mostly lifted from the book and shortened by pulling out the examples of things. I've got a more bullet-pointy GM version I'll try to find and post. I printed it out a while back and tend to keep it handy.

The dueling one is nice. I have a small hex sheet someone did, with a maneuver in each hex so someone at the table can move a marker through them as they go, since you can't use the same maneuver twice in a row. Less useful for online play unless you want to sit with one beside the keyboard. I'll aim to load that as well.

Another BBC Travel article. This one, cryptically titled "Are Lithuanians obsessed with bees?" discusses the linguistically conservative (archaic) nature of the Lithuanian language, Lithuania's special role in history as Europe's last pagan country, and the historical importance of bees in Lithuanian culture.

Spoiler alert: Austėja is both the name of the ancient Lithuanian goddess of bees and a popular woman's name in the present day.
