(Being horribly behind, I'll get back to episode 2 later)

Participating:
Mattea Boiardo
Kamilè (Mila) Laima
Gustaf

After last session's meetings, the group ties up some loose ends before new adventures begin.

Mila receives a pair of envelopes. One with a note and some coins from Dr. Stephens to pay both for the already delivered package and for eventual delivery of the other envelope. The other envelope, of delicate pink and gold paper, is addressed to Their Excellency, the Marquis of Fanfares, Alisa Arend/Beyond Glamourtown.

Afterwards, there's time to follow up a lead down the back alleys of Caerleon, and the group goes to meet Ian Farmer, a known fence with possible information on who kidnapped Mattea's brother. After a fair bit of back and forth explaining and negotiating, he agreed to provide some information and services, provided he was suitably reimbursed.Gustaf's wealth gained them a description and a name: the Duchess of the Flaxen Fields had put out word that she was seeking a Voddace man on a particular boat that she had seen in a vision or dream...reports are a bit unclear on that point. Mattea writes a letter to her father for funds to contract Ian to help negotiate a ransom when the time comes for that, and Gustaf has the name of a Boggan contact, Ton Drushka, within the Duchess's court.

As they leave, a small mob of street urchins flows around and through the group, and they quickly realize that the childrens' light fingers have robbed them. A chase ensues through the streets, with Mila taking to the rooftops and Gustaf twanging more than a few urchin heartstrings with a sob story about that pouch containing medicine for his poor old granny. The group deal with flung waste, moving carts, and a small herd of horses for sale being led to market, not to mention guards that are suspicious of the trouble *they* seem to be causing. In the end, they corral the kids with their stuff and reclaim it, while thwarting a few thefts from nearby merchant stalls while they're at it.

Afterward, there's a short trip to visit Mila's postal bosses to note her new commission; which excites them greatly. Nobody has asked for a letter to be delivered to Sidhe Realms yet! They take copious notes regarding delivery of Mattea's letter.

Then off to Glamourtown, where most of the residents are obviously not human, the buildings are breathtaking in their beauty and oddity, and you have to watch out for stones deciding to trundle off from underfoot. While tailors measure the Heroes and prepare their new livery, Daniele's assistant fills them in on things like their new titles as Advisors on human culture and custom to the Envoy.

She also stresses several important rules in the Realms beyond
-Take no gifts that are not explicitly given freely, not even food or drink.
-Make no promises you do not intend to keep; it will go badly.
-Do not give away your true name. Not that most mortals know their true names.
-Many things come in threes, including warnings. Their positions as Daniele's assistants will not help them if they ignore someone's third warning, for example.

Their livery is the same watery blue-green as Seabright, accented with silver. Mattea even gets a veil of black lace, shot with silver, and an iridescent green color in the right light.

Speaking of light, they are to leave for Sidhe lands at twilight and all ride to the Hill; a two story mound in the midst of the city with immense double doors that are pulled open by some equally immense fae with long horns. The light streaming through the doors is decidedly brighter than twilight.
