Between Sessions report

The last session wrapped up a rather large fight in the warehouse district, and saw the heroes depositing a number of captured/incapacitated Brutes and Villains with the town guard, as well as freeing a number of folks they had held captive.

In the following week, the papers and rumors swirl around the events in the warehouse district. There was an apparent riot at the Imperial warehouse, objecting to the upcoming royal wedding to a Voddace noble. Depending on their bias, some papers report it as a Czerwony protest against allying with the repressive Voddace and demanding proof that Dominica Vespucci is actually marrying of her own will. Others paint it as saboteurs seeking both to discredit the Czerwony and cast doubts upon the wedding of the principle architect of Golden Liberty. While a number of goods were stolen or destroyed, the mob's main focus seemed to be on the wedding goods. The streets outside the warehouse were littered with shards of Voddace pottery.

Reporting on the events at Nadzieja Dubicki's warehouse comes out more slowly, with initial reports merely calling it an attack and theft. After a few days, the more 'red' publications are reporting upon the arrest of a number of workers at the warehouse in connection with smuggling of pirated goods and kidnapped people. The Gazette is slower to report on these events, and more likely to use words like "alleged". Nadzieja manages to distance herself from her crooked employees well enough to avoid arrest, though popular opinion still views her suspiciously (mechanically, her Influence, and therefore strength, is diminished, but the Villain is not yet defeated entirely.) The cloud hanging over her is heavy enough that she is unable to offer to replace all the wedding porcelain from her own recent shipments of Voddace pottery.

Jerzy takes good care of the 'dragon eggs' and let's you know that they've been transported to the palace for examination, and probable sale. There is no mention of them in the papers.

The authorities request that all of you stick around a bit for questioning and the like in regard to the whole warehouse kerfluffle. This will take roughly a week. Let me know if your character plans to stick around or heads straight out of town. (I'll juggle the split party if need be).

If sticking around, let me know what your character is doing in this timeframe. This can be posted here or privately.

And lastly, my weekends are impacted until after Labor Day weekend, so we are effectively taking August off from scheduled Roll20 sessions. If there are individual bits that need to be roleplayed out with NPCs, I can do that on the forum. Likewise, if characters have individual roleplay they want to manage with each other, feel free to set that up here.

In this timeframe, Ganzorig would like to be splitting his time between getting his shop put back together and visiting the refugees/rescued people to make sure they are safe and hale.

And probably checking in at the end of the week with Jerzy if the agreed upon "one dragon egg" is available. >.>
